Do you love her?

“Do you love her? I mean does the thought of her, the smell of her, the touch of her make you quiver? When she is away from you, do you think about her...wishing her in your arms making love to you? When you see her after not seeing her for a whole day, does she make everything okay? ..... Anything less than mad, passionate, extraordinary love, is a waste of your time. There are too many mediocre things in life; Love shouldn’t be one of them.”
— Dream for an Insomniac

The moment I saw this quote...I had to post it. Everything about it is true and the words are flawless. Love is one of those things in life that many people claim to know about, to feel, to be the expert on, but you can never truly understand it until cupid hits your own heart with his arrow. The feeling of love and being loved in return is overwhelming and extraordinary and pure craziness all wrapped into one destinal present with a ribbon on it.

Capturing the power of love in movies and books and old literature and how it has evolved and changed throughout the years is an incredible story in itself. From Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare to Jane Eyre and Mr Rochester by Charlotte Bronte, to the modern day Noah and Allie in The Notebook, a story of love will never get old and can never be outdated.

Love is a concept that can be captured in the most epic of ways and the most ordinary of ways but still make for an exceptional story. It can be a story of the girl next door...or it can be a story of a soul mate from across the world...love has no boundaries. Oftentimes it will not be practical or come at an opportune moment but it will be a story worthy of being told. No one denies that love can bring pain, but it can also bring a heartwarming joy like no other.

To find somebody, like in the above quote, that can make everything okay in just seconds...somebody that you miss after seeing them 5 seconds ago...somebody who takes your breath away when they walk into the room...or catches your attention...that is what love is.

I hope all that read this embrace the beauty of love and the hope and joy that it can bring to you. Love stories are inspirational, beautiful and full of hope that someday you too, will have your own story to share. I know I have mine...and it is something I will always cherish.
